The wait is over, the 6th season of CCL is on the way, and this time a new team, Punjab De Sher, is also participating.
The announcement of eight regional teams that will be participating in the competition was launched through a grand celebration in Mumbai. Stunning presence of stars marked the event, including Taapsee Pannu, Riteish Deshmukh, Sonu Sood, Hans Raj Hans, and Suniel Shetty.
Taapsee Pannu has been finalized to promote this season of the franchise, and Bollywood ‘villain’ Sonu Sood is all set to lead the team called Punjab De Sher. The team is owned by Mr. Puneet Singh and Navraj Hans who has the pop legend Daler Mehndi as the official team’s brand ambassador.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Puneet Singh expressed his excitement: I have new team Punjab De Sher So I am happy to introduce my captain Sonu Sood Fantastically, we have great characters who will surprise everyone with sixers on the floor.”
Some of the performances in Punjabi De Sher are Mika Singh, Jimmy Shergill, Ayushmann Khurrana, Yuvraj Hans, Jassi Gill and Babbal Raietc.
The tournament will commence from January 23 and the first match of the tournament will be between Punjab De Sher and Mumbai Heroes. The audience wants their celebrities to get out on the cricket field and have some fun playing the sport.
CCL is bringing back cricket, fun, entertainment, and the glamour of Bollywood celebrity, and the 6th edition will be bigger and better. The show named Punjab De Sher is ready to add punjabi flavor and pugnacious talent in the field which makes this season interesting to watch!
