The multi-starrer Singham Again has geared up since its opening and has collected a strong Rs 186 crore worldwide by the first Monday. It has emulated Rs. 146 crore India gross and Rs.40 crore from international circuits, making it further clear that it will sail past Rs. 200 crores, predicted by the Sacnilk trade portal.
Alone in India, Singham Again collected Rs. 139.25 crore net. It raked in Rs 43.5 crore on the first day of its release and Rs 42.5 crore the second day, Rs 35.75 crore third day as well as Rs 17.5 crore the fourth day. This is a new high to director Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn as they surpassed for Golmaal Again and Chennai Express on the opening weekend.
Now Singam Again is pegged to top the lifetime India figures of the Ajay Devgn starrer Shaitaan that had collected Rs 148.21 crore within the domestic market. The high octane action drama is directed by Rohit Shetty involving cop on the run, Bajirao Singham and his team hunting down the notorious villain Danger Lanka, in a cross border protocols to rescue his wife Avni.
Former Singham Ajay Devgn is back in action with the same title character and Kareena Kapoor Khan as Avni. The movie also the star cast such as Ranveer Singh cloning his Simmba character Sangram Bhalerao and Akshay Kumar cloning his Sooryavanshi character Veer Sooryavanshi. On the same note, Arjun Kapoor and Deepika Padukone have some roles that are noteworthy as do Jackie Shroff and Tiger Shroff and Dayanand Shetty.
Singham Again came out on November 1 alongside Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 starring Kartik Aaryan. A good commercial turnout of the film further underlines the reception that audiences have for the policeman action oriented space created by Shetty.
