There was a pathetic road mishap on Wednesday at the Bhimtal area in Nainital district of Uttarakhand where a roadways bus fell into a 100-meter-deep ditch in Dhampur killing several passengers. These remarks were confirmed by Prahlad Meena, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in Nainital, who added that relief teams were immediately sent to the crash area.
An elaborate rescue ensued mobilizing the SDRF, police, and residents in an attempt at rescuing the trapped and injured. “On December 25, 2024, we came to know through the District Control Room about the bus accident that had happened near Bhimtal. “The SDRF teams from Post Nainital and Khairna were rush to the site,” said SSP Meena.
Coordinated Operation
Quick rescue operation was launched by a number of agencies who joined hands to offer the necessary help to the people who got injured and survey the scene. This self-effort demonstrates sense of purpose of the community in conforming to emergent incidents.
