Union Home Minister Amit Shah released the BJP’s election manifesto for the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024 which he described as a vision document of the party. The most important points included here are “Mission Olympics 36,” raising agricultural subsidies, the Ladki Behen Yojana, and healthcare reforms. Shah claimed that this very manifesto represents real Maharashtra, a state of kings and historical importance not forgetting the likes of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
While launching it, Shah emphasized on the key matters of the party, namely women rights, farmers, and job issues as the aspects sending people ahead. Stating politics, he also advised them about Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) issue and questioned Uddhav Thackeray how he unites Congress members like Rahul Gandhi with proud Maharashtrian legends of Veer Savarkar and Balasaheb Thackeray.
Prominent BJP leaders present on the occasion were Dy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, state party chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule, mumbai BJP president Ashish Shelar and Union Minister Piyush Goyal. The BJP’s manifesto committee chief Sudhir Mungantiwar also highlighted his parties commitment to the Indian economy and Five-Trillion-Dollar Economy.
Speaking to the gathering, Fadnavis stated that the manifesto is all about the development hence aligning to the BJP vision for the nation. He focused that the party is right and brought the documentation that would show that it has done a lot of things right: displaying what has been accomplished in the past and what is currently ongoing to prove the public’s trust. Of 25 major promises, Fadnavis listed the “Ladki Behen Yojanas” and farm loan waivers. He explained the “Bhavantar Yojana” on why farmers can get better prices on inputs and proceeded to list that prices for important medicines and devices would be regulated alongside approaches of making twenty-five lakh employment opportunities.
Assembly polls in Maharashtra are scheduled for November 20.
