Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s action-packed sequel Pushpa 2: The Rule has proved that no record was safe as the movie has easily crossed Rs 1,500 crore mark in its second week. This feat makes it the quickest Indian film to reach this kind of a status, thereby proving its as a pan-India success story.
The film’s total gross stands at an impressive Rs 1,508 crore, placing it in the elite league of Indian cinema alongside Dangal (Rs 2,070.30 crore) and Baahubali: The Conclusion (Rs 1,786.06 crore). Although earning more than Baahubali 2 lifetime collections is not easy, had dubbed version again hit the theaters it could easily beat Dangal.
Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule* has Allu Arjun in the lead with Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna in important characters. Another young actress who starred in Kissik dance number also managed to grab many people’s attention. The film’s music; composed by Devi Sri Prasad has added more fuel to this existing mammoth success.
